What do you call it when you still don’t really sleep - but you just go to bed and get up earlier than everyone else? 2:30 am is not a friendly time to be waking up.

At my second job yesterday I saw double-chocolate-chip muffins on sale for a dollar. Had they been able to last more than a day I would have swooped them up in a second. Good tip for looking for affordable muffins if you’re not in the mood to bake them yourself: Check out the discount rack at your local supermarket. Chances are the muffins actually aren’t really even close to going bad and you can put them in the fridge to extend their life … and they’re wicked cheap! (So, say you’re up at 3:00 am and you want a muffin … they’ll be available and you won’t feel quite so bad for not baking them) ;)
Also, #insomniactreehouse should start a #muffinbake division … I move we tackle each of these:

while i didn’t think i had any shameless plugs to add to this quality list, i did just eat at denny’s recently, and the waiter was wicked nice. and my grand slam was kickass. so uh, yeah, should you be up, you should go to denny’s. or, really, anywhere you can get a quality omelet. nothing beats an omelet. guys we need one of these http://is.gd/xHw2 for the treehouse.

i have been guarding the treehouse myself tonight; went to see star trek tonight, which i highly recommend … and now i’m at work so sleep didn’t really fit in there. it is quiet. get up, people.
